These Terms & Conditions govern access to the website, the placing of orders and the purchase of products offered through it.
By placing an order, customers acknowledge the information applicable to their purchase. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects consumers’ mandatory statutory rights.
2. Products
Nomonym sells roasted specialty coffee, coffee brewing accessories and other products displayed on the website.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and information are accurate. Minor differences in appearance or presentation may occur, provided they do not affect the essential characteristics of the products.
Coffee is a natural agricultural product. Its sensory profile may vary depending on origin, variety, processing method, harvest and roasting. Such variations do not, in themselves, constitute a defect.
Limited-edition coffees are subject to available stock and the availability of the relevant lots.
3. Prices and taxes
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website and include applicable taxes, as stated at the time of purchase.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the destination and available delivery options and are displayed before checkout is completed.
Nomonym may change prices and product availability for future orders. Such changes do not affect the price of an order already accepted.
If an obvious pricing error occurs or a product becomes unavailable, the customer will be informed. Any amount paid for products that cannot be supplied will be refunded, as applicable.
4. Orders and formation of the sales contract
Orders are placed through the website by following the checkout process.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including delivery addresses and contact details.
An automated email acknowledging receipt of an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
The distance sales contract is concluded when Nomonym confirms acceptance of the order, in accordance with applicable law.
If an order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be informed and any amount paid for undelivered products will be refunded, where applicable.
5. Payment methods
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Depending on the options available on the website, payment may be made online through a payment service provider or by other methods indicated at checkout.
For showroom collection, the payment methods available at the time of collection will be communicated during the ordering or confirmation process.
Electronic payments are processed by the relevant service providers. Nomonym does not store full payment card details unless a compliant functionality is implemented and disclosed to customers.
6. Delivery
Nomonym delivers within Romania and to European destinations available at checkout.
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before the order is completed. Destinations where delivery is unavailable cannot be selected during checkout.
Delivery estimates are those displayed on the website or communicated in the order confirmation. Unless another deadline is agreed, the delivery deadlines required by applicable law apply.
Delays may occur due to carriers, weather conditions, peak periods or other circumstances beyond Nomonym’s reasonable control.
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and ensure that the parcel can be received.
If a parcel arrives damaged or products are damaged or incorrectly delivered, customers are invited to contact us at nomonym.orders@gmail.com. Photographs and the order number may help us resolve the issue. This request does not limit customers’ statutory rights.
7. Showroom collection
Customers may select personal collection when this option is available at checkout.

Customers should wait for confirmation that their products are ready for collection and follow the instructions provided by Nomonym.
Product availability, collection times and applicable payment methods will be communicated during checkout or in the order confirmation.
Personal collection is free of shipping charges unless otherwise expressly communicated before the order is placed.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns
Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from distance sales contracts within 14 calendar days, subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law.
For goods, this period generally begins on the day the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, takes physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, customers must send an unequivocal statement to nomonym.orders@gmail.com before the statutory deadline expires.
Goods must be returned without undue delay and within the period required by law. Customers bear the direct cost of returning goods where they have been properly informed of this obligation and applicable law does not provide otherwise.
Customers may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the circumstances expressly provided by law. Depending on the product and circumstances, exceptions may include goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where they have been unsealed after delivery.
Refunds
Where a valid withdrawal is exercised, refunds will be issued within the statutory period, generally no later than 14 days after Nomonym is informed of the withdrawal.
Nomonym may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or evidence of their dispatch has been provided, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method that does not involve additional fees.
These provisions do not limit consumers’ statutory rights concerning non-conforming, damaged or incorrectly delivered products.
9. Non-conforming, damaged or incorrectly delivered products
If a product is non-conforming, damaged or different from the product ordered, customers should contact nomonym.orders@gmail.com, providing the order number and a description of the issue.
Nomonym will assess the situation and apply the remedies required by applicable law, as appropriate, including replacement, price reduction or refund.
Statutory rights relating to product conformity and applicable legal guarantees are not excluded or limited by these Terms & Conditions.
10. Website use
Customers agree to use the website lawfully and not to engage in fraudulent activity, compromise website security or attempt unauthorised access to systems or data.
Nomonym may take reasonable measures to protect the website and its users in accordance with applicable law.
11. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, logos, graphics, visual identity and other materials published on the website are protected by intellectual property laws.
Reproduction or commercial use without the rights holder’s prior permission is prohibited, except where permitted by law.
12. Personal data and cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Details regarding the data collected, purposes and legal bases of processing, recipients, retention periods and data subject rights are provided in the Privacy Policy published separately on the website.
The use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in the Cookie Policy, where applicable.
13. Liability
Nomonym makes reasonable efforts to keep the website operational and its information up to date. However, uninterrupted availability and the complete absence of technical errors cannot be guaranteed.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
Customers may contact us with questions or complaints at nomonym.orders@gmail.com.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints amicably.
Consumers may contact the competent consumer protection authorities, including Romania’s National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), and may use alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available under applicable law.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in accordance with applicable law. Consumers’ mandatory rights remain unaffected.
15. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
Nomonym may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect legal, commercial or operational changes.
The version applicable to an order is the version relevant at the time the contract is concluded, subject to applicable legal requirements.
The updated version will be published on the website together with its revision date.
16. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects mandatory consumer rights granted by the laws applicable in the consumer’s country of habitual residence where those rules apply.
